
MEL HARRIS
Mel (she/her) completed her Master's in Education in school counselling in 2019 after working as a secondary school support teacher since 2005. She has been a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors since 2020. Mel has spent the last decade working with at-risk youth and their families in an alternate education setting. She has experience working with youth who are dealing with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, conduct disorder, disrupted attachment, and substance use. Mel takes a person-centred approach through a healing informed lens to build relationships, believing that connection is the foundation for healing.
